Mpume's experience is vested in both customer and brand marketing. She is currently Account Director for Yellowwood design, responsible for client service and design team management.
After Mpume completed her BCom Hons degree in Marketing and Management at the University of Natal , she joined Johnnic Publishing (now Avusa) where she gained invaluable experience in media publishing in the Group Editorial Training department.
A career move to advertising as Account Manager at Synergy Africa and Paton Tupper Associates broadened her skills set to include through-the-line experience on a diverse portfolio of brands, including financial services: SA Home Loans; Biotechnology: Lifelab; and FMCG: Knorr, Robertsons, Sunsilk, Omo (Angola) and Geisha Soap (Angola), to name a few.
Mpume likes to keep her mind and heart open to the forces that move the world and seeks to understand the impact that they have on music, culture, fashion and design.
